Just in the time for the Lenten Season, we visited the Kamay ni Hesus Shrine in Tayabas, Quezon after not being able to visit during the last few years because of the pandemic. We last went there in May 2019, I think after the wedding of my husband’s cousin. My father-in-law hails from Quezon Province, that is why it has been a custom for them to pay a visit whenever we go there as a family. The first time Coco and I went there was in 2013 when I was just 1 month post-partum, making it Coco’s first travel at 1 month and 5 days!
We weren’t able to climb up this time because it was raining so hard and we didn’t want to risk it. We just went to pray and visited the new built Healing Church of the Risen Christ. It wasn’t there yet in 2019 and I’m not quite sure when they finished building it during the pandemic years. It was so beautiful and fulfilling to look at and pray.
Kamay ni Hesus Shrine is locted in the slopes of Mt. Banahaw in Barangay Tinamnan of Lucban, Quezon. Read more about Kamay ni Hesus through my previous Kamay ni Hesus Blogs.
