I don’t know if you remember it. In the height of the pandemic, Disney ceased its broadcast in South East Asia, including the Philippines. Rumors were because because Disney+ will also be launching in the region. When? We didn’t know. But today, a year and a month after they announced its pull out, the news that Disney+ will finally launch in the Philippines this November 17, 2022.

Disney+, the home for your favorite movies and TV shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic, is an American subscription video on-demand over-the-top streaming service owned and operated by the Media and Entertainment Distribution division of The Walt Disney Company. In case you don’t know, Disney+ is also the super upgraded version of Disney Life. Prior to Disney+’s launch in 2019, the service offers a wide selection of Disney Channel shows and Walt Disney Studios movies, but it also offers other content such as soundtracks, books and live streams. But with this upgrade, many extra content were not included. But Disney+ though added many more movies and shows, including Star Wars, Marvel movies and a large selection of content from 20th Century Studios and National Geographic. Disney+ also has a lot of movies and series that adults can enjoy like Emmy-Nominee series, This is Us, and movies like “10 Things I Hate About You” and “Never been Kissed” – Hollywood movies to K-Drama, you name it!

As it arrives in the Philippines soon, The Disney+ website redirects Filipino users to its pre-launch page. Those who are interested in the subscription can now pre-register at the Disney+ PH Pre-Launch Page. Subscription for the streaming service starts at P159 per month. It is said that a subscriber may create up to 7 profiles on their account to download and watch from Disney+.
