Nature at its Best: Yosemite National Park

I’ve been to the most amazing place I have ever been to. yes.. far more amazing than the chocolate hills and the Hinagdanan cave. Don’t get me wrong, even if this is more amazing than those places, I still love them and they are still amazing for me.

so, yeah, we went to Yosimite National Park today. It’s a two-hour drive from Sacramento to the top of a mountain with the most zigzagged road I’ve ever been (definitely more zigzags than the one in Baguio). It made me a little dizzy ’cause I’m not feeling well because of my colds. Hell, everytime I’m having a good time, I’m having a vacation, I always have colds.

As we passed through a tunnel, where I also made a wish, unveiled us this beautiful waterfalls, called the Bridal Veil. I actually went near the foot of the falls barefooted, even though I know clearly that the water is ice cold because it is melted snow. I’m really overwhelmed with the waterfalls.

Then, we went to Mariposa Grove where you’ll see giant Sequoia Trees. literal na giant. Meron pa dun parang foot ng cat na giant. Actually, may mga bears daw dun eh. Sayang hindi na kami nag trekking kasi pagod na din kami actually. Hehe. Pero kung hindi siguro ako pagod, magtrekking ako or kahit mejo pagod ako and I’m well. I will. haha. Sarap mag-nature tripping eh.

We drove down the mountain, still admiring the beauty of nature. It seems like I don’t want to leave the place but I have to. Hindi ako pwede dun. My skin’s too thin. Lamigin ako mashado. We ate dinner at PJ’s Cafe and Pizzeria. Ang sarap ng country steak sandwich ko. the burger there taste liked that of Burgoo’s daw sabi ng sister ko. Back to Hayward.
