There is something truly magical about the way the Disney Princesses stay with us as we grow. No matter how old we get, or how busy life with work, family, adulting and everyday errands gets, World Princess Week always manages to ignite that little spark of royalty right back up inside us.

At the then 2 year old, Hallway to the Royal Hall of the Castle of Magical Dreams, Hong Kong Disneyland (Pandemic Era), an apt cover photo as this castle is a tribute to the Disney Princesses
I’ve always felt such a strong, deep attachment to the different princesses, though if I had to choose, my ultimate favorites will always be the ones who belong to the ocean. There is just something about the sea, the waves, and the spirit of adventure that feels like home to my soul. *wink*
Looking back, the magic has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Sharing with you all some of my favorite photos and stories with my beloved Disney Princesses, from the different times I visited the different Disney parks around the world, all the way from 1990 up until my last Disney trip in 2024!

1991: Disneyland (with a little 5-year-old me hiding in that head!) — Snow White was the very first Disney princess I ever met (and the first for my husband too!). Fun fact: I didn’t even have a real photo with her back then, so doing a full repeat over 20 years later at Hong Kong Disneyland in 2023 felt completely full-circle. 🍎✨

1990: Tokyo Disneyland, 2022: Disneyland Paris | I realized I’ve somehow never crossed paths with Cinderella in a traditional meet-and-greet, but I’ve always loved spotting her in the parades! Here’s a sweet throwback to seeing her for the very first time in Tokyo, and a magical repeat years later in Paris. 🕛✨

2006: Disneyland | Meeting Sleeping Beauty and daydreaming that some day my prince will come. Aurora will always hold a special, fairytale-sized place in my heart. 👑💖 Pure joy meeting my ultimate favorite girl from childhood! Little trivia: The Little Mermaid VHS tape from our 1991 US trip was actually my very first Disney classics tape ever. Part of that world forever! 🧜♀️🌊

2006: Disneyland | Meeting the very reason I fell so deeply in love with books. Tale as old as time, true as it can be! 📚🌹

2022: Hong Kong Disneyland (Pandemic Era) | My other all-time favorite girl right after Ariel (plus, voiced by our very own pride, Ms. Lea Salonga!). And this, my friends, is truly our girl. 🧞♂️✨

2022: Hong Kong Disneyland (“Follow Your Dreams” Castle Show) | I never managed to catch her for a meet-and-greet either, but if you ask me for my favorite Disney song of all time? It’s Colors of the Wind. Seeing this during one of the best shows when the Castle of Magical Dreams opened was unforgettable. 🍂🍃

Mulan (2006): Disneyland — Catching our rare princess warrior out and about! | Tiana (2022): Hong Kong Disneyland (Pandemic Era) — Dreaming big and working hard just like her. 🌸👑

2024: Hong Kong Disneyland | On her way to Jungle Junction for the Adventure Is Out There Summer Show—and she even paused to wish me a happy birthday! Another princess I only ever got to wave to during a magical parade moment. ☀️

2018: Hong Kong Disneyland | The very first time I met our girl Moana—my favorite adventurer and my absolute Maui, in 2023! 🌊🥥

2024: Hong Kong Disneyland (World of Frozen / Arendelle, Hong Kong Disneyland) | Stepping into Arendelle and getting an extra-special happy birthday greeting from Anna herself! Into the unknown we go. ❄️🏰

2018: Hong Kong Disneyland | My kumars and little royal favorite! I grew to love Sofia so much back when my son was little and constantly glued to her episodes on Disney Junior. 💜👑

2006: Disneyland | No photo with Cinderella? No biggie! Here’s the FGG herself signing my autograph book instead! I just had to include this magical core memory right here. Bippity-boppity-boo! ✨🪄🪄

2017 & 2019 | A very, very special photo(s) with my ultimate favorite Disney Princess: our Princess Jasmine and Mulan,, our 🇵🇭 pride, and absolute Disney LEAgend, the one and only Lea Salonga. Still pinching myself over these moments! 🎤✨
I never met Merida and Raya, looking out for them in the future?
