Review: Mi TV Stick

We never had a SMART TV. I know that’s what’s in nowadays. But we didn’t think we need to buy one at the moment because our Samsung TV is not broken. We had a smaller one for a few years, until my mom brought over her bigger one here and gave it to Coco because she was gifted SMART TV, I think. While Coco would enjoy watching Disney, Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network, I, on the other hand, would indulge myself to watching Netflix via my trusty mobile phone.

Until my sister, gifted Coco a Mi TV Stick for Christmas (2021). I was hesitant at first because I thought it was complicated to use. But this Mi TV Stick was what helped us through the few weeks we had Covid-10 Omicron Variant in January 2022. I’m sorry for the very late review. I just found this on my old files, so here I am trying to do a review.
Mi TV Stick Android Stick
A Mi TV Stick is a portable streaming media player, which is powered by Android TV. It has Google Assistant, Smart Cast and can produce Dolby & DTS surround sound. It is light and portable, easily fits your pocket so you can bring it anywhere. It is just like the old school internet USB stick. It is very easy to set up. It takes just three easy steps and you can start enjoying everything the Mi TV stick has to offer in no time! Just plug in to your TV, Connect to the Internet and choose which streaming app you’d want to watch at. It already has built in Netflix, Youtube, PrimeVideo, Disney+, HBO Go and Spotify. The Mi TV Stick is powered by Android TV 9.0 which supports voice search and Chromecast connecting you to a world of content. It has Google Assistant, thus you don’t need to type if you don’t want to. Since it has built in Chromecast, you can easily cast your videos from your mobile, or tablet to  your TV screen.

What’s the verdict? It’s heaven sent to us. I wished I never hesitated to get it at the first place. It’s a decent buy for its price. Since it’s plug and play solution meant for regular TVs that couldn’t connect to the Internet, it is a plus for those who aren’t that techy. Good buy! Now, may I continue watching my Netflix?
