As per arrangement with our tour coordinator, we will be picked up at Pearl Farm’s gate 1.
Everything is already included in our package – van rental, entrance fees, and lunch. All for P1,390 each for 12 pax.
We started with our tour once we have changed into our swimming attire and once our bags were properly stored at the baggage area of the resort.
It was a 30-minutes road trip to Maxima Aquafun Resort.
Here are the rates:
There were 2 giant slides that lead you to the sea.
Aside from the slides – you can go kayaking, snorkeling, diving, swimming, fishing, jetskiing and banana boat.
The Resort is monitored by several lifeguards always on-watch and life vests are very much available and is a must for all those who wants to try the water sport facilities. Here’s some rules to follow:
You can also stay at the resort overnight, just contact them for rates.
We only stayed here for more than an hour since we were all hungry and wanted to have lunch. So our tour coordinator brought us to the Samal Island branch of Mang Inasal.
After that, we went to the Montfort Batcave Sanctuary (Entrance Fee is 100php + Environmental Fee of 5php.
We were first brief by the very funny student volunteer about the batcave and the bats itself. The cave has 5 openings that houses around 2 Million Geffroy’s Rousette Fruit Bats (winner in the Guiness Book of World Records as the biggest colony of Geoffrey’s Rousette Fruit Bats in the world). In one of the cave openings you can really smell the guano (bat poop).
Our last stop the Hagimit Falls (P20 entrance fee). The falls is actually small, has a natural swimming pool, and the water is really cool and has deep parts. It also has nice rock formations. That is why you should really be careful when swimming. Huts and tables can be rented for family picnics.
After a fun day around Samal Island, we went back to Pearl Farm!
