Calling all our travel enthusiasts, amateur and professional photographer friends!

The Exchange Regency Residence Hotel is proud to launch the “Epitome of a Modern Traveler Photo Contest” in time for our opening!

Anyone may submit a photo that depicts what a Modern Traveler is.  The public votes for their favorite photo through the Facebook page.

Photo submission dates are July 6, 2012 (9:00 AM) – July 20, 2012 (5:00 PM).  Voting dates are from July 21, 2012 (9:00 AM) until August 9, 2012 (9:00 AM).

Announcement of the winner will be on August 10, 2012 (5:00 PM). 

Criteria for the winning entry:
60%        People’s Choice (most number of likes)
15%        Aesthetic Appeal
20%        Relevance to Theme
  5%        Photo Title

The winner of the contest gets an OVERNIGHT STAY in our deluxe room and the winning photo will become the next cover photo of The Exchange Regency Residence Hotel Facebook page.

Mechanics:

1. To join and qualify, participants should “like” The Exchange Regency Residence Hotel Facebook page, “follow” The Exchange Regency Residence Hotel Twitter Account (http://www.twitter.com/@TERHotel), and, “share” The Exchange Regency Residence Hotel Facebook page to his/her own Facebook Account.
2. Submit photo entries to mhemady@theexchangeregency.com. Add a title to your photo entry. Include your name, age, email address, contact numbers, Twitter account and a screen cap of your Facebook page showing that you’ve shared our Facebook page.
3. Photos will be posted on our Facebook page on July 16, 2012 (6:00 PM).
4. The Exchange Regency Residence Hotel shall also send a note on July 17, 2012 (7:00 PM) reminding participants of the voting period.

Remember, your family and friends have to like our facebook for votes to be qualified.

Rules:

1. Each participant may submit maximum of 2 entries.
2. Entries must be submitted in JPEG format, with a maximum file size of 5MB only.
3. The contest is open to anyone – male or female – aged 18 and above.
4. Employees of The Exchange Regency Residence Hotel and HII and their relatives up to the 2nd degree of affinity and consanguinity are disqualified from joining.
5. The participant has the freedom to do enhancements and manipulation of their photo entry as long as he/she was the one who took the picture.
6. No name or any mark identifying the photographer shall be included in the photo itself.
7. Entries should not have been a winning or shortlisted entry in any other competition, locally or internationally.
8. Winning photo will become the property of The Exchange Regency Residence Hotel and may not be submitted for publication to other print or online publications.
9. Prize is not convertible to cash.
