Anko makes mom’s day sweeter with tea party and cupcake workshops

The best gift for mom isn’t always wrapped—it’s an afternoon bonding with the people she loves most. Anko knows this best, which is why the Australian home and lifestyle brand treated moms and their little ones to tea party and cupcake-decorating workshops at TriNoma on April 12, Ayala Malls Manila Bay on April 18, and Ayala Malls Feliz on April 25.

At the workshops, moms and their kids got hands-on and made something sweet together. Using Anko’s silicone bakeware, mixing bowls, spatulas, and cute serveware, little ones got creative while moms added their own personal touch—all within the warm, playful atmosphere the brand is known for.

Leading the sessions is Ivi Piadozo—better known as Mommy Ivi across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. As the creator behind @ourdailyulam, she is dedicated to sharing easy recipes, food finds, and everyday meal inspiration for families who love to eat well. Guiding guests through cupcake-decorating techniques, Mommy Ivi demonstrated how a simple, shared baking session could double as meaningful quality time with the kids

ANKO MOTHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS (2)

8 Cup Coffee Plunger and Petal Mug | A proper morning ritual, elevated. Brew a full pot with the 8-cup coffee plunger and pour into the Petal Mug—the kind of routine that turns a quiet moment into something worth savoring because mom deserves a cup that feels as good as it looks. Whipped Sprinkle Frame and Lemon Square Frame | The afternoon will pass, but the photo stays. Frame the moment in something as sweet as the memory itself—these playful, whimsical frames are made for the kind of photos you’ll want to keep on the shelf forever. Artificial Poppies | Blooms that never fade, just like the occasion. Tuck these artificial poppies into a vase and let them do what flowers do best—make a table feel warm, intentional, and just a little more special. Mediterranean Platter | For the mom who feeds everyone joyfully. This vibrant platter is made for big family spreads—the kind where the table is full, the conversation is louder, and every meal together feels like a small celebration. 12 Cup Muffin Pan | Why save the fun for special occasions? Anko’s 12-cup muffin pan makes it easy to turn any morning into a baking moment with the kids—sturdy and affordable for everyday use.

While the workshop was a beautiful reminder of how Anko creates space for mom-and-child bonding, it was also a much-needed opportunity to enjoy some time for myself. I had such a blast catching up with my mom friends, Neri and Reylen—reminding me that exploring new hobbies is just as important as the roles we play at home. I’m so glad I spotted this through the Anko Club; being a member is completely free and gives you first dibs on activities like this! I even picked up a few items so my son and I can recreate the cupcake decorating magic at home. Honestly, anything I buy for myself from now until Mother’s Day is officially a gift to me, for me!” as some tidbits I want to share.

The celebrations don’t stop here. Every weekend from April 18 to May 10, kids across all five stores—Glorietta, Alabang Town Center, TriNoma, Ayala Malls Manila Bay, and Ayala Malls Feliz—can craft paper bouquets for mom at Flowers for Mom workshops. On May 9 and 10, moms get their own treat: a complimentary hair styling session. Anko Club members who spend a minimum of ₱1,500 on select weekends also receive a free limited-edition tote bag.
