Now that we are in the “Now Normal” and more and more local and foreign tourists are coming our way, and the hotel and travel industry is quite booming again. People has started to find time to have staycations back to their favorite hotels, while at that, the Arzo Hotels & Resorts has opened another property, Arzo Hotel Makati Premier to cater just anyone. Whether you need a pitstop before heading to your next flight, a much needed rest after back to back meetings, or just because, Arzo Hotel Makati Premier is definitely recommended for an affordable stay.

The newly opened Arzo Hotel Makati Premier is a 20-room hotel with a roof top lounge area at its 8th floor. Our Family Room comes with a queen size bed, a single size bed, 32 inch Smart TV with Netflix and YouTube, hot and cold shower, electric kettle, free wireless internet access, complimentary bottles of water and welcome drinks. It is spacious enough for a family of 3. It was indeed a comfortable stay as we didn’t have to squeeze ourselves in a queen size bed like in other hotels. A key card is used to enter your designated room.

But what I love about them is how their wireless internet access is very fast and reliant. I never had any problems with it and definitely no dead spot in the room. I was able to work properly, especially when I had a Zoom meeting. Internet access is everywhere. I went to the lobby and even in the 8th floor lounge, there is still internet access. With that said, to someone who works remotely like me, it is a big plus.

My son and I dropped by the Rooftop Lounge at the 8th floor before sunset. He enjoyed the view of Makati as well as the frequent take off and landing of airplanes. With its faux grass flooring, its open air ambiance plus good food makes it a perfect place to relax. They also have a Videoke through the TV so you can sing your heart out as you share drinks with your companion. Opens at 7AM breakfast time up until 9PM.

For dinner, we just had them delivered to our room. We ordered carbonara and chicken fingers plus extra rice for Coco. Since we haven’t claimed our welcome drinks then, that’s when we ordered them. In all fairness with the chicken fingers, it was a lot that even me and dada had our share.

Suprisingly, both Dada and Coco was up so early. We had breakfast at 7AM. I don’t usually eat that early and I don’t even eat rice but the smell of the breakfast food totally enticed me. I loved the good ole tocino, I loved their vinegar concoction even more.


The food is great and affordable plus serving is quite big. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast includes a cup of coffee. Coco wanted hot chocolate, I just added Php15. Turns out it is not just your regular hot chocolate. You can pay cash, G-cash or add to your room billing.

I worked for 45 minutes in the morning, and took a nap until we were about to check out at 12NN. It was a great rest indeed.
