There is no specific age on when to start to take care of one’s hygiene. It should start from when you were a baby, with your parents making sure you are clean and smells good, to the time you are old enough to take care of yourself. My little boy here started to take care of his own hygiene a few years back, and I’m glad that he is the type that is very conscious when it comes to taking care of himself.
Now that he is a few months shy to becoming a tween, I see to it that he start using age-appropriate products. Recently, I discovered the new Rexona Deo Powder, which can be actually used to ones underarms, feet, and back. Coco loves the Peppermint Cool variant as it gives fresh fragrance leaving you worry free all-day. Staying fresh and clean all day boosts ones confidence, especially for a growing kid like Coco, whom is just starting to build his.

My eldest started using deodorants when he was 11 and was rehearsing for Matilda. I guess because they were actively dancing everyday at rehearsals, I thought it was a good time to teach him to use deodorants. When they’re young, choosing powdery scent sounds just appropriate because I like my kids smelling like that. 🙂 Hindi na lang pwede ikiss ang kili kili, hihihi.
