an experience of a lifetime

wow. kanina. hindi ko akalain. tatanggap kami, ang AIESEC, ng certificate of appreciation from ESA dahil sa PBOX sa living with the entrep class pa ng mga entrep students after ng mga reporting ng students. kaya pala kami pinapapunta sa class na yon. kala ko naman pinapalisten lang kami sa reporting ng mga trainees. that’s very touching. wala lang, hindi ko lang akalain. sayang. sana nandun kami lahat to receive the award with ces – kahit si ces  yung pinatanggap, shempre di naman pwede lahat kami pupunta sa harap. haha. pero diba, sayang. sana nandun talaga lahat. ang sarap siguro ng feeling na yun.

and yeah, Julia’s right. sana ma-experience nga ng iba kong schoolmates how to leave in a small house with only one room for everything, house ng isang less fortunate family, helping in Gawad Kalinga and going to public schools to spend some time with disabled kids. I have already experience them, except for the homestay. and it is a very rewarding experice. Grabe yung GK experience namin, the first one in Baseco. papunta pa lang sa place na yun, super hirap na, ang daan crooked, baha pa. commute lang kami. tapos yung iba, nag dig ng shit while some painted some bars and a lt of more stuff. we were also able to spend some time, eat lunch with homeowners of GK. they told us about their life experiences and all that stuff. When we went to this public school, where there are kids with hearing deficiency and autism and we did some art with them. they were so happy to see us especially the foreigners. they really enjoyed the activities we gave them. you can really see the joy in the kids eyes. Iba talaga nagagawa nito. Life-Changing. Imaginine nio pa, this all happened the day after i turned twenty. oh diba. ayun, sana yung mga ibang schoolmates ko rin ma-experience yung mga na experience namin. Sana ituloy pa rin ang GK sa school, meron naman malapit na na GK site eh — dito sa may bahay ko. hehehe. and it’s a really new site. Sana if ever mag-ganun kami, AIESECers ulit, mag join din kayo – schoolmates yes, even though you are not an AIESECer – kasi iba talaga ang feeling pagnakakatulong ka sa ibang tao, kahit sa isang maliit na bagay lang na yun. iba talaga pag you will make a difference in the life of other people. you will feel fulfilled. XD
