Waiting on a Wish Fulfilled: Disney’s Snow White Delivers Magic

Undeterred by the storm of criticism surrounding the trailer, I ventured into Snow White with a hopeful heart. Disney’s Snow White is a GENUINE DOSE of DISNEY MAGIC. This isn’t just a simple retelling of the 1937 classic; it’s a vibrant reimagining, one that has the potential to stand among Disney’s finest live-action adaptations.
We see a Snow White initially confined and restricted, but when faced with the harsh realities, she’d realize that she should find the person she ought to be again. She must rediscover her true self, a spirit dulled by the castle walls. It’s to speak up when we need to and fight back when their words start to bend you.

An empowered Snow White breakthrough, a new found depth for our OG Disney princess with the desire to be the leader that her father WISHED she could be, plus a bite of a sweet apple for a little fairytale romance.
SNOW WHITE
Rachel Zegler IS Snow White. While her skin may not be “white as snow” in the literal sense, her heart is the fairest of them all. Don’t get me started with the music, a delightful blend of cherished classics and fresh, captivating tunes.

May we all find the courage to break barriers, to be Fearless, Brave, Fair, True –  just like the Snow White we’ve come to know and love.

P.S. I especially loved the glimpses into Snow White’s childhood, which added so much depth to her character.
