Art in Island has transformed into a captivating Mixed Media Art Museum, offering a unique and immersive experience that blends various art forms and media technologies. This innovative museum showcases a collection of artworks created in collaboration with renowned Korean artists and technicians, utilizing the latest media equipment.
I had the pleasure of visiting Art in Island in 2015 when it first opened. Even then, the museum’s art installations and illusion photos were captivating, transporting me into a different world. It was a fun and memorable experience, especially for my then 2-year old son, Coco.
Returning to Art in Island 9 years after our first visit and after its 2022 reopening was a special moment. The museum had been closed during the pandemic, and while we were unaware of the renovations taking place, we were pleasantly surprised when it reopened in December 2022. The museum’s transformation into a Mixed Media Art Museum was truly impressive. The new exhibits were visually stunning and offered a completely different experience compared to my previous visit. Experience 15 incredible exhibits that transport you through time and space. Feel nature in every dimension and be the main character of your own story! The museum’s first floor, “The Mystery of Mother Nature,” invites visitors to immerse themselves in a world of natural beauty. This immersive experience is made possible through the use of 3D art painting, projection mapping, and carefully placed objects and lights.

MYTH OF THE JUNGLE. The mystical primordial light permeates through the jungle. Seeping into the living nature. This light is the energy of Life itself and becomes ONE with Mother Nature in blissful glow.

HIWAGA NG PILIPINAS. My body is dyed with neon black art, and in it, resides the treasure that is the gentle sound of the living nature of the Philippines.

On the second floor, “Bridge Over Dreams,” visitors can enjoy a mesmerizing light display synchronized with media art, creating a relaxing and healing atmosphere. This space features a dynamic interactive experience, where the perception of the environment changes based on individual feelings and emotions.
