It’s a mom-and-son date kind of day today, even more special since it is Mother’s Day! Since I am craving for some makis and tempuras, we went to my favorite (no bias!) Japanese Restaurant, Hanako, who just welcomed their newest branch few weeks back at the Greenhills Promenade. When it comes to authentic Japanese food and its affordability, Hanako is really the place to be!
Today’s huge meal is brought to you by my intense Japanese craving these days. I actually ordered dishes that I haven’t tasted yet, well most of. Plus those that I couldn’t say no to — their Ebi Tempura, Tonkatsu, Gyudon Donburi, and Torched cheese and salmon nigiri! Are these your favorite too?

Here are the NEW dishes I wanted to taste from their menu. I tell you, don’t just stick on your favorites as you will be missing out a lot from these Japanese dishes, that may seem ordinary to some. But I say, there’s just something about it that makes them taste extraordinary. I can’t explain it well as we all know I am not a food blogger. But I know good food when I encounter one, and I won’t mess you with fake reviews as it’s just not me!
Miso Soup – I may have tasted a lot of Miso Soup in my life, but this has got to be the tastiest yet. I literally slurped it down.Philadelphia Roll – Made from smoked salmon and delicious cream cheese, tasted heavenly!Tofu Steak – I just loved it! I wish I got more, nabitin ako! Who doesn’t love tofu!?Beef Yakiniku Donburi – has the perfect blend of savory, topped on riceSalmon Teriyaki Donburi – teriyaki but not chicken! It simply tastes sooooo goood!
