If there’s one thing that we also look forward to whenever we go on staycations is the good food that hotels provide. It actually adds to the reasons that would make you keep coming back for another stay. My mom, Coco and I recently stayed at Arzo Hotel Manila and one of the things that we enjoyed from our stay was the good food from Kusina Comfort Foods.
Kusina Comfort Foods serves your Filipino favorites – from hototay soup, chicken sotanghon soup, chicharon bulaklak, chicken adobo, chicken tinola, pork binagoongan, crispy pata, nilagang baka, inihaw na bangus, pinakbet, chopsuey, pansit bihon guisado, sizzling tofu, silog breakfast favorites, turon with langka, halo-halo and more. Did I say comfort food at its finest?
We enjoyed our pork binagoongan (which I forgot to take a picture of), nilagang baka and tocilog with coffee and fruit dessert.
The following morning, we were able to wake up early just in time for breakfast. Buffet breakfast starts at 7AM and ends at 10AM. They serve different foods for the buffet everyday.
During our stay we were able to enjoy daing na danggit, luncheon meat, scrambled eggs, sunny side up eggs, fried rice, steamed talong/okra with bagoong Balayan, hot sopas, coffee and orange juice. I certainly enjoyed their creamy hot sopas especially that it was so cold.
Kusina Comfort Foods can also hold initiate gatherings such as weddings, christening and other events, with at least 50 pax. A small platform and a cake table are already available for the stage area.
All in all, food served from Kusina Comfort Foods, definitely gave me the comfort I needed for a restful staycation.
