Letter to My Unborn Child

” I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him” (1 Samuel 1:27)

To our precious little miracle,

I can’t wait to feel you growing inside of me every day. I can’t wait to hear your heartbeat, to feel you kick. But most of all, I can’t wait to see your eyes open to see the world, to hear your cries and laughter, to see you smile and to carry you in my arms.

I will wipe your tears when you cry. I will feed you when you are hungry. I will bathe you and dress you. I will lull you to sleep. I will stay up late when you can’t sleep. I will give you everything you need and want.

I will protect you with everything in me. I will keep you safe from harm. I will fill your heart with all the love and joy that I can give. I will make sure that you are surrounded with positive vibes as you grow up and that no one will threaten you in any way.

You will live a life full of dreams, achievements and happiness. We will raise you in every way we know it is right. You will grow up to be the best version of yourself.

My first born, you will never ever doubt how much you mean to me. I love you with all of my being. You are our blessing from God, His 26th Birthday Gift to me – His best gift I ever received my entire life and I will cherish you forever.

You are the start of the new chapter of your daddy and I’s humble love story and you will be the best one for sure!

I would like to ask you to hurry because I want to meet you the soonest. But I will wait patiently for you. I will enjoy you on the inside. Come as you are, my dearest son or daughter. And come when you are ready.

With every ounce of my heart,
Mommy

PS. I can’t wait to see you tag along to mommy’s (and sometimes, daddy’s) adventures! ❤
