Last weekend, Coco and I got to celebrate MILO Philippines’ 60th Anniversary! It was an incredible experience to be part of this momentous occasion and witness how MILO has been fueling Filipino champions for six decades. It highlighted MILO’s long history of supporting Filipino champions, not just in sports but also in life.

Inspiring Champions: Hidilyn Diaz and Alyssa Valdez

We were lucky enough to hear from some of these champions themselves. Hidilyn Diaz and Alyssa Valdez were both in attendance and shared inspiring messages with the crowd. Alyssa’s message about parents supporting their children’s dreams really resonated with me as Coco embarks on his own football journey. It’s so important to cheer on our kids and help them chase their dreams, whatever they may be.

The New MILO 60 Years TVC

The new Milo 60 Years TVC was another highlight of the event. It’s a heartwarming commercial that celebrates the power of Milo to fuel Filipino dreams. It got me a little teary-eyed (and maybe Coco too!), but it also filled us both with so much hope. The commercial reminds us that anything is possible if we set our minds to it. One day, Coco.. one day!

Fun Activities and MILO Memories

The event also had a lot of fun activities for kids. There were active zones where kids could play futsal, basketball, and volleyball. Guess where Coco spent most of his time? ⚽

There was also a memorabilia area that showcased different MILO merchandise through the years. It was a trip down memory lane for me to see all the old Milo jackets, marathon kits, and of course, the iconic MILO can.But my absolute favorite part of the event was the Milo booth. There’s nothing quite like the taste of an ice-cold Milo, especially at a Milo event! It brought back so many childhood memories for me.

Celebrating 60 Years of Milo

This event was a wonderful celebration of MILO’s 60-year legacy. We’re so grateful to be a part of the MILO family, both as a content creator and with Coco’s participation in many MILO activities plus a digital ad at that. He’s a true MILO boy, through and through! Just like me, his love for MILO started when he was a child, and it’s something we’ve always shared as a family.
