What better way to spend my me-time but to actually pamper myself at my favorite salon – Cre8 Salon *wink* But this time, I went over to their Marikina Branch, the only branch that has its own beauty clinic, to experience what Cre8 Beauty has to offer! I finally got the chance to do something about my stubborn pimple marks through their CO2 Fractional Laser. I also gave in to their Ultra Diode Laser Hair Removal and Premium Pico Carbon Laser Treatment for my underarms. Crossing my fingers to getting back my healthier skin through these tiis ganda treatments ✨
If you’re curious about any of these treatments, here’s a quick overview:

CO2 Fractional Laser Treatment: This treatment is a carbon dioxide laser which precisely removes deep outer layers of damaged skin. This treatment uses tiny lasers to create micro-injuries in the skin, which stimulates collagen production and cell renewal. It’s a great option for treating a variety of skin concerns, including acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles, and sun damage. I chose this since I have stubborn pimple marks on my face. It has a 10-day down time so if you have anything scheduled, make sure to schedule your treatment away from it. I can’t wash my face for 24 hours and it is important to put sunscreen. I still might need another session for this since there are still marks. This how my face looks like before treatment and after the 10 days down time.

This is 12 hours after treatment, Day 1 and Day 3. It only had a lot of scabbing until Day 1 and only a few left on Day 3. If you want to heal fast, use Hydrocortisone, 3x a day.
Will it hurt? The CO2 Fractional Laser treatment is minimally non-invasive laser treatment. It may cause discomfort but generally it won’t hurt. A topical anesthesia will be applied prior to treatment. The sensation that is often felt is similar to that of pins and needles.

You will see results 3 weeks after your treatment and can see full results 3 to 6 months from the initial treatment, once the skin if fully  healed. Results will be prolonged with diligent use of SPF+, avoided sun exposure and home skin care maintenance. Breastfeeding and pregnant women can not undergo this treatment.
As you can see, most of my acne scars lightened. I feel like it became oilier though, but the fine lines were gone. I also noticed that around the 7th day, around 6 pimples popped out of my face. I am not quite sure if that is because of the treatment or it was because I just had my period, so it was the hormones speaking. But it was more than usual, so I wasn’t really sure. The two dark new dark mark by my right cheek and forehead is caused by the pimples that just erupted.  Overall, I think another session or two would help totally lighten my pimple marks. It’s effective isn’t it?

Ultra Diode Laser Hair Removal:This treatment uses laser energy to target and destroy hair follicles, resulting in permanent hair reduction. It’s a safe and effective option for all skin types and hair colors. This requires multiple treatments for  best results depending on hair growth and skin type, but it is usually 4 to 8 sessions.

Premium Pico Carbon Laser Treatment:This treatment uses laser energy to break up carbon particles that have been applied to the skin. This helps to remove dead skin cells, reduce the appearance of pores, and improve skin tone and texture. It will take 7-10 days before you’ll see the results, so I haven’t compared anything yet. But I hope it will remove or at least lighten the “trauma” that happened to me when I tried a certain product a decade ago.
