Rubik’s Cubes are a great way for kids to have fun and learn at the same time. They are challenging and rewarding, and they can help kids develop a lot of skills. Playing Rubik’s has been Coco’s past time, especially during the pandemic years when he actually learned how to play it. Coco recently received a gift from our Richwell Club family – a box of Rubik’s toys! I actually didn’t know that it has a variety to choose from.
Here are some of the Rubik’s toys that was sent to Coco — Rubik’s Apprentice 2×2 https://shope.ee/AUQqlBAarr, Rubik’s 3×3, Rubik’s Mini 2×2 https://shope.ee/qGK65pQ7A, Rubik’s Master 4×4 https://shope.ee/7UnE2JeSaf and Rubik’s Race Course. The cubes itself has different levels of difficulty from 2×2 for beginners up until 4×4 for masters. Actually they also have Rubik’s Professor 5×5 and a lot more like Rubik’s Phantom 3×3 https://shope.ee/LK543l4Ia, Rubik’s M1 Kaleido Cubes https://shope.ee/6AHs0p63CL and like Coco and I’s current favorite game, Rubik’s Race Pack N Go version https://shope.ee/6KbIDBcv9h. So many to choose from in different levels of fun and difficulty, right?
What do I love about Coco playing Rubik’s? Here are few things that kids develop when playing Rubik’s:
- Problem-solving skills: Solving a Rubik’s cube requires kids to think logically and creatively. They need to figure out how to move the pieces around in order to get the colors to match on each side. This helps kids develop their problem-solving skills and learn how to think outside the box.
- Hand-eye coordination: Rubik’s cubes require kids to use their hands and eyes together in order to move the pieces around. This helps improve their hand-eye coordination, which is important for other activities, such as sports and playing video games.
- Dexterity: Rubik’s cubes require kids to use their fingers and hands in a precise way in order to move the pieces around. This helps improve their dexterity, which is important for other activities, such as playing musical instruments and writing.
- Focus: Solving a Rubik’s cube can be challenging, and it requires kids to focus on the task at hand. This helps them develop their focus and concentration skills, which are important for success in school and in life.
- Creativity: Rubik’s cubes can be solved in a variety of ways, and kids can get creative with their solutions. This helps them develop their creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Patience: Solving a Rubik’s cube takes time and practice. Don’t get discouraged if your child doesn’t get it right away. Just keep practicing and they will eventually get the hang of it.
In addition to these cognitive benefits, Rubik’s cubes can also be a lot of fun for kids. They are a great way to challenge themselves and to learn new things. They can also be a lot of fun to compete with friends and family members to see who can solve the cube the fastest. Yes, playing Rubik’s has been our current bonding, especially Rubik’s Race!
